Template notice for the site owner: CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws require a working opt-out mechanism, not just a page describing one. Wire the request form below to a real inbox and log every request with its date. Have counsel confirm which state laws apply to you. Delete this box once done.
Residents of California and of other states with comparable privacy laws have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information, to request access to the information we hold, and to request its deletion.
What we share, and with whom
When you submit our matching form, we share your name, contact details, and project description with a local roofer so they can contact you about your roof. Under some state privacy laws this transfer may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, whether or not money changes hands for your data specifically.
We do not transfer your information to unrelated advertisers or data brokers.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@ridgeroofer.com with:
- Subject line: OPT OUT, ACCESS, or DELETE
- The full name you submitted
- The phone number and email address you submitted
- The ZIP code you submitted
We use these details only to locate your record and verify the request. We respond within 45 days, and usually much faster.
Authorised agents
You may designate an agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of that authorisation.
If a contractor has already contacted you
If we have already shared your information with a contractor, opting out here stops any further sharing by us, but it does not automatically delete you from that contractor’s own records. You will need to contact them directly, and you can ask us which contractor received your information.
Stopping calls and texts
To stop text messages from a contractor, reply STOP to their message. To stop calls, tell the caller directly that you are revoking consent. You can also email us and we will notify the contractor we matched you with.
No discrimination
We will not deny you service or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
